Pallet covers are large polyethylene bags designed to slip over the top of a palletized load, providing protection from dust, moisture, rain, and UV exposure during warehouse storage, cross-docking, and freight transit. They are one of the simplest and most effective ways to protect palletized goods from the environmental hazards they encounter between your facility and the customer's receiving dock.
Our pallet covers are sized to fit standard pallet dimensions (48" x 40" and 48" x 48") with heights from 48" to 97" to accommodate different load configurations. The cover is manufactured as a large bag with one open end that slides down over the top of the stacked pallet. For full protection, the cover should extend to the bottom of the load or to the pallet deck. The bottom edge can be tucked under the load or left loose, depending on whether you are also applying stretch wrap.
Available in 2 mil for standard indoor protection and 3 mil for heavy-duty outdoor storage, extended transit, or loads with sharp edges. The 2 mil gauge is adequate for warehouse storage, short-haul delivery, and clean environments where dust is the primary concern. The 3 mil gauge adds puncture resistance for sharp corrugated edges, outdoor yard storage where the cover is exposed to sun and rain, and long-distance freight where the cover must survive weeks of handling and environmental exposure.
Pallet covers work in conjunction with stretch wrap for maximum protection. The standard approach is to apply the pallet cover first, then wrap the entire load with stretch film to secure the cover in place and provide additional structural support. The cover provides the moisture and dust barrier, while the stretch wrap provides the load stability and holding force. This combination is the industry standard for protecting high-value or moisture-sensitive palletized goods.
