ESD-safe pink poly for electronics protection.
Anti-static poly bags are manufactured with a static-dissipative additive that prevents electrostatic discharge (ESD) from damaging sensitive electronic components. The distinctive pink color provides instant visual identification that the bag offers ESD protection, which is an industry-wide standard recognized in electronics manufacturing facilities, repair shops, and distribution centers around the world.
Static electricity is one of the most common and costly causes of damage to electronic components. A static discharge as low as 20 volts can damage sensitive MOSFET gates and integrated circuits, and a person can generate thousands of volts simply by walking across a carpet or pulling a bag from a stack. Standard poly bags actually generate static during handling, making them dangerous for electronics. Anti-static bags contain additives that dissipate charge safely, preventing the buildup that leads to damaging discharge events.
Our anti-static bags are manufactured at 4 mil thickness, providing maximum protection against both electrostatic discharge and physical damage during packaging, shipping, and storage. The 4 mil gauge is significantly thicker than standard parts bags, offering puncture resistance that protects delicate PCB traces, pin connectors, and component leads from mechanical damage. The combination of ESD protection and physical durability makes these bags suitable for the most sensitive electronic assemblies.
The static-dissipative additive in our pink poly bags works by absorbing moisture from the air, which creates a conductive surface layer that safely dissipates any charge that contacts the bag. This provides protection during normal handling in typical warehouse and manufacturing environments with relative humidity above 25%. For extremely dry environments or the most sensitive components, static shielding (metallic silver) bags may be more appropriate, but for the vast majority of electronics packaging applications, pink anti-static bags provide excellent protection at a lower cost.
Available in sizes from 3" x 5" for small components and individual ICs to 12" x 18" for larger circuit board assemblies, graphics cards, and complete electronic modules. The size range covers the most common packaging needs for electronics manufacturers, repair facilities, and distributors. All bags are open-top for easy loading and can be sealed with heat sealers, tape, or fold-over closures.

PCBs, assembled circuit boards, and individual electronic components protected from static discharge during packaging, shipping, and storage. The 4 mil thickness also provides physical protection for delicate solder joints, traces, and connectors that can be damaged by impact or abrasion.
RAM modules, graphics cards, hard drives, SSDs, motherboards, and other computer components that are highly sensitive to ESD. The pink anti-static bags are the industry standard for packaging computer parts at manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, and repair shops.
Individual chips, integrated circuits, microprocessors, and semiconductor devices that can be destroyed by static discharges as low as 20 volts. Anti-static bags provide the first line of defense in the ESD protection chain from manufacturing through final assembly.
Safe transit packaging for electronic products, components, and assemblies shipped between manufacturing facilities, distributors, and end customers. The static-dissipative material prevents charge buildup during the friction and handling that occurs throughout the shipping process.

The pink color is an industry-wide standard that provides instant visual identification of ESD-safe packaging. When workers in an electronics facility see a pink poly bag, they immediately know it offers anti-static protection. This color coding prevents dangerous mix-ups with standard poly bags that could damage sensitive components. The pink color is created by the static-dissipative additive itself.
Anti-static (pink poly) bags prevent static buildup and dissipate charge on the bag surface. Static shielding (silver metallic) bags create a Faraday cage effect that blocks external static fields from reaching the contents. Anti-static bags are sufficient for the vast majority of electronics applications and are significantly more economical. Static shielding bags are reserved for the most sensitive components or extremely low-humidity environments.
All our anti-static bags are 4 mil thick. This is heavier than standard parts bags and provides dual protection: the static-dissipative material prevents ESD damage, while the thick gauge provides physical protection against punctures, impacts, and abrasion that could damage delicate circuit board traces, solder joints, and component leads.
Anti-static bags contain a chemical additive that absorbs moisture from the air, creating a thin conductive layer on the bag surface. This layer safely dissipates any static charge that contacts the bag, preventing the charge from building up and discharging into the contents. The protection is effective in normal working environments with relative humidity above 25%.
We stock anti-static bags in sizes from 3" x 5" for small individual components and ICs up to 12" x 18" for larger circuit board assemblies, graphics cards, and electronic modules. All stock sizes are 4 mil pink anti-static poly. Custom sizes are available for components that do not fit our standard range.
