LDPE film and sheeting is flat polyethylene material available in continuous rolls or pre-cut sheets. It serves as a moisture barrier, dust cover, drop cloth, vapor retarder, and general-purpose protective layer for construction, agriculture, industrial, and DIY applications. This is one of the most versatile polyethylene products we manufacture, with applications spanning virtually every industry that needs a flat barrier material.
Roll film is available in widths from 12" to 48" in gauges from 1.5 mil to 4 mil. Roll format is ideal for wrapping, covering, and protecting surfaces, products, and equipment. It is commonly used as a wrapping material on production lines, as interleaving between stacked products to prevent scratching, and as a protective cover for machinery, furniture, and building materials during storage and transit. The continuous roll allows you to cut exactly the length you need for each application.
Pre-cut sheets are available in larger formats up to 20 feet x 100 feet in 4-6 mil for construction and agricultural applications. Construction-grade 6 mil sheeting is the standard for vapor barriers under concrete slabs, crawl space liners, and building envelope moisture management. Most building codes require a minimum of 6 mil poly for these applications, and our sheeting meets the ASTM E1745 standard for vapor retarders used in contact with soil or granular fill under concrete slabs.
Agricultural poly sheeting is used for ground cover, greenhouse glazing, crop row covers, fumigation tarps, and silage covers. The UV resistance of LDPE makes it suitable for outdoor use, though applications requiring extended UV exposure (more than a few months) should consider UV-stabilized grades. We can manufacture UV-stabilized sheeting for greenhouse and agricultural applications that require long-term outdoor performance.
All film and sheeting is manufactured from virgin LDPE resin for consistent thickness, clarity, and mechanical properties. Custom widths, lengths, gauges, and colors (black, white, tinted) are available for orders that do not match our standard catalog. Black sheeting is popular for weed barrier, agricultural ground cover, and light-blocking applications. White or opaque sheeting is used for temporary walls, privacy screens, and surface protection.

Visqueen is a brand name that became a generic term for polyethylene sheeting, similar to how "Kleenex" is used for facial tissue.
